OpenAI's Artificial Intelligence Software is obsolete, and inaccurate

ChatGPT has gone viral since the artificial intelligence company OpenAI released it last month. Many has been insisting that the artificial intelligence-based software will revolutionize the writing industry with its human-like text in a conversational context.

But the tests show Chat GPT free version capabilities have been exaggerated. The AI assistant is just a language model at best and can only assist with professional content writing, with lots of flaws.

  • Inconsistent quality and accuracy:
ChatGPT is just a program. Its responses are generated based on patterns and information already available on the internet. It does not have capacity to produce consistent information in a flow.
  • Lack of domain-specific knowledge:
Although the bot can generate instant replies, they may not be true and correct because the artificial intelligence can only reproduce what it has been fed from the internet. It cannot yet distinguish between correct and false information.
  • Limited ability to understand context:
The automated agent doesn't have a memory. It treats each input or question as a separate query. It can sometimes show inconsistent or out-of-context answers, especially when the context is not explicitly mentioned in the current input.
  • Lack of human creativity and judgement:
The artificial intelligence-based software can generate text based on patterns it has learned or what has been fed to it. It lacks the ability to distinguish between different events and an understanding of human emotions, reflexes, and judgement.
  • Overreliance on user instructions: ChatGPT responds to what you type in the chat box. If you write something incomplete, the reply may surprise you.
  • Obsolete Information: Although the artificial intelligence base software has been launched recently, the company stopped feeding information to the bot in September 2021. When asked about the current Prime Minister of Pakistan is, the robot said, "As of my knowledge cutoff in September, 2021, the Prime Minister of Pakistan is Imran Khan.
